Why Do Cats Make Biscuits?

Cats make biscuits because deep down, they’re little bakers in training! Every time they knead with those adorable, jellybean toes, they’re imagining themselves in a tiny chef’s hat, crafting the fluffiest cloud-shaped pastries for their adoring human customers (aka you).

In reality, they’re just channeling their kitten instincts. When they were tiny furballs, kneading helped them get milk from their mom. Now, they think of you as their giant, hairless cat-mom substitute, and kneading is their way of saying, “You’re the best loaf around!”

Also, it’s their version of a spa treatment—kneading soft blankets or your belly helps them relax. And, let’s be real, they probably think it’s hilarious that you’re now stuck under them, immobile, while they prep for the Great Cat Bake-Off. So, next time your feline barista “makes biscuits,” just know they’re doing it with love… and a sprinkle of kitty pride!
